Visits to your site from AI assistants. This is where visibility converts to traffic.
Is the visibility worth anything?Does your visibility in AI answers move together with the traffic reaching your site?

In depth
From visibility to visits
Visibility is not traffic, and the two should never be added together. One counts answers that named you; the other counts people who arrived. A brand can be named constantly and see very few visits, because a good answer often ends the search — the reader got what they needed and never clicked.
What arrives is measured from your own analytics, not estimated here. Sessions whose referrer is an assistant are separated from search and direct, and the orders behind them are read the same way — so the number you see is the number your finance team already believes, filtered rather than invented.
Attribution stays honest by refusing to pick a winner. Last click is shown because it is conservative and hard to argue with; equal share is shown beside it because an assistant is usually the first touch rather than the last. Two models in one table beat one model in a footnote.

Who arrives from AI?
Visitor age and gender, from Google Analytics. Google no longer allows narrowing this to AI referrers; the table covers all site visitors.
Does the crawling bring anyone?
On the left, how many pages the engine read; on the right, how many people arrived from it. An engine that reads everything and sends nobody is a different problem from one that never comes.
Every tracked prompt produces a stored record: the verbatim answer, which brands were named and in what order, the sentiment of the sentence around each name, and every source the answer cited. Across a category and a market that becomes a picture of which publications the models actually trust — and that picture is available to any customer for their own category, exported as CSV, a Looker Studio report or through the API.

All eleven engines are on the menu — ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral and Qwen. Your plan measures three; Leader measures all eleven. Some are read through a search surface and some through the provider's API, which changes how an answer is retrieved, not whether you may track it.

Thoughts on Rixe
“
It has a simple product approach. It's good that they're trying to make a complex topic more understandable.
“
When you think about it from an agency perspective, it's easier to understand why such a platform is necessary. Showing a client Google rankings is easy, but explaining why competitors are recommended more on ChatGPT or other AI platforms isn't so easy. Rixe's focus on this gap is a good choice. It could especially attract teams that prepare regular visibility analyses for different brands.
“
I don't see AI visibility as just a trend. People's research habits are changing, and brands need to adapt. Rixe is positioned on the measurement side of this change, which I think is the right area.
Frequently asked
Two sources, both your own. Search Console and Google Analytics 4 supply clicks and sessions; your access log or CDN supplies the crawler hits themselves. Nothing is modelled or estimated from a third-party panel.
No code change. Cloudflare connects with one read-only API token, Vercel, Netlify and Fastly send their log drains, WordPress uses the Rixe plugin, and any other server can pipe its access log with a single command.
The AI crawlers that actually reached the page, matched by user agent — so you see which crawler hit which URL and when, not an estimate of how often you were probably crawled.
From the engines themselves, read on a schedule, plus the accounts you connect. Nothing in the panel is bought from a third-party panel or estimated from clickstream.
Daily on every plan. A market or engine you add starts on the next run rather than waiting for a billing cycle.
From the day the project is created. We do not backfill, because a backfilled answer would be a guess about what an engine said last quarter.
No. Every prompt in your set is asked on every run, on every engine you have on. A sample would hide exactly the rare answer that names a competitor.
The run records which model answered. When a version changes, the chart marks it, so a step in the line is explained rather than mysterious.
Yes — CSV from any panel, and the read-only Data API on Scale. The export carries the answer text, engine, market and timestamp.
For the life of the project, so a year-old answer is still openable. Deleting the account deletes them.
