Thoughts on Rixe

Understanding why competitors are recommended might be more valuable than just seeing your own visibility. Rixe's approach to this topic interested me.
I think the most important test for tools in this area is whether the data they provide can actually be turned into action. Knowing that a brand's AI visibility is low isn't enough on its own. You need to see the possible reasons behind it and understand which topics to focus on. Rixe's approach of combining sources, competitors, and brand visibility is meaningful in this regard. A useful analysis category is emerging that marketing teams can use.
Honestly, I would have wondered if there was a need for a new SEO tool with so many out there, but Rixe addresses a slightly different issue. It's not about Google ranking, but visibility in AI answers. This difference is important.

Frequently asked

Tasks + e-mails for sources with Moz DA ≥ 30, exported to Asana.

Find source opportunities → Domain authority (Moz/Ahrefs/Semrush) → At least N? → Open outreach tasks → Export to a tool → Notify

As a filter, not a target. Domain authority is a rough way to skip the sources nobody reads; the real ranking is how often the answers use them.

It is a default that removes most of the noise in a typical category. Raise it if the list is long and lower it if your category is small.

Because outreach is real work with owners and dates, and it dies in a panel. Any task system with an API works the same way.

The source, the contact route, the prompts it influences and the draft email. Enough to act without opening the panel first.

It drafts them and queues the tasks. Sending stays with the person whose name is on the message, which is also what gets replies.

The workflow keeps a contact history per source and will not queue a second approach within the window you set. One good email beats four.

Low, and honest outreach usually converts on the second or third source rather than the first. The list is short precisely so that persistence is affordable.

When the source is one the answers already use, yes, and the panel shows it: the same prompts are re-run and the citation appears or does not.
